Agriturismo Muru Idda

We went there only for dinner. They have a very special and VERY BIG fixed dinner menu where you can taste many local specialties and they’re all very delicious. It’s a peaceful place in the greens with a big garden. For only 50€ per person we had all you can drink wine and more food than we could eat. Actually I think they should reduce the size of the portions and/or number of courses because almost everyone had leftovers. They were so generous to give all that as doggie bag but I think customers would be equally satisfied with 10-15% less food. All in all, great experience, highly recommended.

We went there for their 8 course dinner on the last night of our trip in Sardinia. I will start off by saying that the property and the dining area are really beautiful and a pleasure to sit in. The service was also really wonderful and attentive. Only thing we didn’t like ambiance wise was the cheesy American soft jazz cover music (and we are American) - would have preferred local/traditional music to go with the vibe of the meal. In terms of the meal - it was plentiful (more food than one can handle) but the items were really hit or miss. Even some dishes were great but there was maybe one thing off about it. We walked out full but not overly excited about the meal we just had - just general contentment. Just felt like they fell short of our expectations based on the reviews. The wine and the alcohol at the end were both excellent though. One thing that wasn’t noted to us was that in between the first and second course there is a “break”. If we had known we would have gotten up to walk around sooner. We realized one almost every table walked away that they were not just getting up to have the typical Italian dinner smoke break. Just something that should be mentioned and not assumed.

If I could I would give 6 stars. We went for the dinner menu at 50 euro per person. You have an 8 course menu which lasts around 3 hours. The food is local and all dishes are very very tasty 😋. Wine and water is included, and they close the evening with some local strong liquor. The staff was amazing: friendly and welcoming, ready for any request. You get to see also how the prepare the porceddu (typical sardenian food). The agriturismo itself is in a very country side area , away from the city and has a lot of beautiful and well arranged location. In summary, one of the best evening dinners you can have 😉make sure to book your dinners

A pearl in the heart of Sardinia. Amazing place with the attention to every detail. Warm, friendly, outgoing and passionate owners providing the outmost pleasant stay in an beautiful Oasis. This place deserves to be in top spot rankings in Sardinia. The 10 course menu in the night was expanding our culinary spectrum and displayed the tradition of festive Sardinian meals. We can heartily recommend this place! Thank you so much Domenico and family to make our last days in Sardinia memorable.
